Relation of Science to Eastern/ Western Religions Discussion Group
This new interest group will be led by CAH member Tee Jay Henner. Sample topics: differences between Eastern/Western religions, is science itself a religion, why are many physicists turning to Buddhism and/or mysticism? Call for location of this meeting.

Writer’s Circle
A series of 6 writing workshops that will meet twice a month through April to review the basics of narrative-based writing (memoir, fiction, creative nonfiction) and receive feedback on personal writing. The instructor is Cynthia Anderson from Boston University. Open to CAH members only. Nonrefundable class fee is $75 per person for the series. Limit 10 participants.

Sunday Film at the Brattle Theater – “Bringing Up Baby” (1938)
Meet fellow CAH members at the Brattle Theatre showing of this film starring Katharine Hepburn and Cary Grant, considered by many to be the definitive screwball film. Optional drinks & good conversation to follow at the Casablanca Restaurant – Dutch treat.  Open to CAH members and their guests.   Members $5 per person, non-member $7 per person

Luncheon - Stay At Home Safely -   Henrietta’s Table
Dovetail and Houseworks, both CAH vendors, will facilitate a discussion of safety tips for organizing medication and home adaptation. Open to CAH Members only.  $20 per person

Visit to the Rose Art Museum – Brandeis University: “Empires and Environments”
Docent-led tour explores the interface of psychological, natural, and cultural environments. Sample artists: Andy Warhol, Max Beckman, Florine Stettheimer, Eduoard Boubat, R.B. Kitaj, Ross Bleckner, Jackson Pollock, Nathalie Frank and others. Open to CAH members only.  $25 per person.  This event involves walking with a group at a moderate pace for 60 minutes.  Limited to 13 participants

Health Options for People with Medicare
A representative of Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) of Massachusetts will discuss topics including: Medicare, Part D prescription coverage, Medigap, Medicare Advantage, programs to assist with drug costs, and avoiding the late-enrollment penalty. Open to CAH Members and their guests. FREE

Cambridge At Home Public Open House, Episcopal Divinity School, Tyler Room, 99 Brattle Street, Cambridge MA

Opinionated Lunch – The Red House – Shari Tishman, Project Zero

Visit to the New England Flower Show
The region’s most talented gardeners, designers and horticulturalists gather for nine days of breathtakingly beautiful exhibits, competitions, entertainment, and information-sharing.  The CAH group will have a private tour through the show by a Master Gardener. Open to CAH members only. Nonrefundable fee of $50 per person.  This event involves walking with a group at a moderate pace for 60 minutes. Limited to 13 participants.

Performance by students at The Longy School of Music
The Longy School of Music prepares musicians to make a difference in the world.  Visitors are encouraged to attend performance rehearsals of students. CAH will attend a noontime
concert rehearsal by Longy students that will be followed by coffee, tea and treats. Free and open to CAH members and their guests. 

Health Focus – Dementia care; some helpful strategies for keeping life meaningful.
Brenda Steinberg PhD will talk about issues surrounding dementia such as coping strategies for caregivers and ways members can support each other.  Free and open to CAH members and their guests.

CAH Coffee and Conversation
